Our PEER 150 Team was born and raised in the Portland Area and are proud to call Portland our home. We believe everyone has a hand in reinvigorating the Portland community and it takes action from local leaders to make a difference at the ground level. We plan to take part in the "We Believe in Portland" community clean up this Spring and would love for our PEER 150 Members to join alongside us!

The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, one of the world’s largest science museums, is famed for its immersive exhibits and hands-on experiences in science, technology, and industry. Located in a historic building from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, the museum inspires curiosity and innovation. We are thrilled to host a PEER 150 HR Dinner here, providing an extraordinary setting for top HR leaders to connect, learn, and share insights in an iconic venue.

People often associate the phrase “Keep Portland Weird” with our hometown of Portland, Oregon. The sometimes-outlandish culture of Portland has become as much a part of the city’s identity as specialty coffee or craft beer and spirits. But, you may ask, what is “weird”? Portland’s brand of weird may be thought by some to be a person with colorful hair or a uni-cycling Darth Vadar playing a bagpipe engulfed in flames. To us Portland natives, weird is simply the norm. Our weird is about inclusiveness. Our weird is welcoming all walks of life with open arms, just like the PDXYZ Experience. This unique gathering is focused on bridging the generational gap in business, while breaking down the walls of traditional conferences and trade shows. This 2 ½ day business gathering in Portland, Oregon will bring together the best and brightest minds in HR, Marketing, Cyber Security, Legal and beyond, to engage in a series of discussions about talent and the universal challenges that each profession experiences. Picture an early-stage SXSW where you also experience the culture that Portland has to offer.

Our community believes that unique experiences, paired with incredible content and high-level executives, is what makes The PDXYZ different from the rest. The PDXYZ breaks down the walls of traditional conferences by providing the ability to network with your peers, engage in meaningful discussion, and experience the culture of our host city by exploring the surrounding areas. We aim to visit the top companies headquartered in the area for site visits and campus tours, while also exploring some of the "local gems" nominated by our members. This unparalleled 1-1/2 day gathering focuses on "Bridging the Generational & Equity Gap in Business" and brings some of the brightest minds in HR, Marketing, Legal, Technology, Finance, and more. (Picture an early-stage SXSW) The purpose is to engage in a series of discussions about talent and the universal challenges each profession experiences.

While our roots are in Portland, Oregon, we extended to Boston in 2024, hosting an unforgettable event at The New England Aquarium, and we look forward to an exciting return in 2025!
