A True Peer-to-Peer Recognition Process

We believe that the most meaningful recognition comes from those who truly understand the challenges and triumphs of the HR profession—HR leaders themselves. That’s why we’re launching the PEER of the Year Awards with a grassroots approach that prioritizes authenticity and peer recognition.

Unlike traditional awards that often favor leaders with the largest employee counts or the most visible titles, our process is built on genuine peer recognition. We are fielding nominations directly from HR leaders, ensuring that those making a real difference—whether through innovation, mentorship, or community impact—are the ones being celebrated. Our Leadership Council, comprised of experienced HR professionals, will carefully review and determine the final honorees, ensuring that each award reflects the voice and values of the HR community.

This is more than just an award—it’s a way to shine a light on the HR leaders who are transforming their organizations and elevating the profession, often without widespread recognition. By celebrating influence over title and impact over scale, we aim to build a culture of appreciation that uplifts the true changemakers in HR.
